Mail Service Delays
March 05, 2025
Billing Statements are mailed the 1st business day of every month. Failure of the Postal Service to deliver a billing statement does not excuse the water user from his/her obligation to pay for the water.
Monthly payments are due on the 17th of every month.
Late fees posted: 18th of the month:$5 or 5% of the bill & last day of the month $20.00
If the billing statement is delivered late or lost by USPS, follow these steps:
1. Call our office: 816-378-3395 before the due date and we will inform you of your current balance. You can make a payment by phone or pay in person during office hours, 8-4:30 M-F or anytime using our payment drop box on the door of the office at 668 Main St. Cosby, MO 64436.
2. Check your account online: Log in to pwsd2andrewcounty.com, select bill payment, and then, pay my bill tab to register an account online. You can view or pay your bill online.
3. Check your email: Review your inbox and spam folder for digital bills sent to your email. If you have set up an online account your bill will be emailed monthly.
4. Review previous statements: If you have access to past bills, check them to get an idea of what your current bill might be.
5. Set up Auto-Pay Bank Draft: Paid on the due date from your Checking or Savings account. There are no fees for this service. Visit the forms section of our website to print an ACH form or call us at 816-378-3395 to have one mailed or complete in person at our office.
6. Online Auto-Pay: Choose the date to pay through your online bill payment account. $1.10 fee for checking account payment or 3% fee for a debit or credit payment.
Due to delays in mail delivery, customers who mail their monthly payments may experince delayed payments and late fees added to their accounts.
