Learn About Our 5 year Water Distribution Construction Plan

At Public Water Supply District #2 of Andrew County, we are committed to providing high-quality water to our customers. The Board of Directors have voted to begin the Five-Year Owner Supervised Water-Distribution Construction Plan. In order to continue to provide quality service the District will begin replacing and upgrading main waterlines, some dating to the beginning of the district in the early 1970’s. The first phase of this upgrade, will be replacing the 6” water main running on the east side of State Rt. W north from County Line Road to State Rt. O, and then along the north side of Rt. W/Rt.O west to Avenue City, with an 8” water main. All waterlines and service meters currently connected to the 6” main will be re-connected to the 8” main.
The construction contractor Decker Construction Services, Inc. anticipate beginning July 15, 2019. Replacement will start at County Line Road on State Rt. W and working north along St. Rt. W and then Rt. O to Avenue City. Decker Construction has over 30 years experience in municipal and rural water systems and heavy highway construction. Their website is-www.deckercsi.com.
